I took a Paint the Oilfields plein air adventure in February 2020. A chilly and rainy February afternoon.
I was driving on lease roads looking for a good place to set up, out of the way and where I would not be run off. I met a man who had the access code to the gate. We found a really beautiful view where I could safely set up. It started to rain and I had to pack up earlier than I wanted, but it turned out beautifully.
