Growing Together is an acrylic, inspired by a combination of the engagement of a young couple, both of whose families have been friends for many years, my tree series artworks, and the creek and a tree near the creek where the bride used to live. The lighting effects at that time of day captured my attention as being symbolic of the end of one phase of life and preparing for the beginning of another. Hidden in the artwork are 2 bald eagles, a book, a dog, a soccer ball, a smiling face, many hearts. What else do you see?
